Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam (INCHAM) is a Non-Profit organization, licensed and established in January 1999 with the objective to strengthen ties of Indian Businesses with the Vietnamese authorities for promoting ‘Economic and Business’ relations between Vietnam and India and also to be the focal point of the Indian Community in Vietnam. In its short existence, the Chamber has moved decisively on each of these fronts. Incham was established in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly known as Saigon) which is commercial capital of Vietnam. Incham established its Chapter in the capital city of Hanoi in October 1999 to further widen and strengthen its presence in Vietnam.
The chamber primarily endeavors to play an active role in promoting the two-way trade between the two countries. It aims to create a forum that allows members to assist and compliment each other to establishing a smooth framework for the development of Indian business in Vietnam. Incham offers a legal platform to its members to promote their business interest and represent them to local authorities in time of need on a case to case basis.

INCHAM has started a new initiative to conduct a fitness camp for its members. The second one which was held on 14thApril and is a monthly activity was attended by an energetic audience who were there on time at 7AM on a Sunday morning at the Indian Consulate campus in HCMC. The trainer Mr. Vishwas Saraswat who is a certified fitness trainer from FISAF International Singapore conducted the same. HE conducted some body weight training with an objective to burn calories and feel fit.

The meeting with His Excelle Ambassador of India and Consular General of Ho Chi Minh City along with the members of INCHAM was a successful one where discussion about various industries their associated problems and solutions were discussed. His Excellency Mr.P Harish was very cooperative in asking every member to come out with their industry related success stories and pitfalls which paved way to understand the dynamics of various industries across Vietnam. INCHAM is thankful to Consular General Vietnam to have given this ooportunity.

INCHAM with the participation of Consulate General of India held "Life In Vietnam(Awareness/Info Sharing)"event which was attended by about 40 people on 5thApril 2019. This awareness was a reckoner for people living here and has relocated recently. Inaugural was done by Consular General of Ho Chi Minh City along with the Chairman INCHAM Mr.Ramesh Anand along with the presentation which was done by Vice Chairman – Mr.Munisha Gupta on General living who covered topics like Hospitals, Schools, Healthcare and Taxation prevailing in Vietnam. Mr.Ajay Panot, Member, Incham spoke about the Activities of INCHAM and its history. He also threw light on the fact that INCHAM is affiliated to the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and have active relationships with around 20 others foreign chamber operating in Vietnam. Vietnam’s Real Estate and the feasibility to own condominium in the form of 50 years leasehold ownership was highlighted by Mr.K P Singh.

Pharma Meet showcased the recent upcoming changes in regulations. In Medical, life sciences, health care. The mission was to bring the Pharma Group on a common platform and provide opportunity for them to interact. This scientific networking helps for the betterment of science by exchanging the ideas in a broader way. The audience agreed to contribute their time more into unifying and exchange the information on Rules and Regulations in the Pharma Industry and react accordingly.
