INCHAM VIETNAM COVID RELIEF EFFORTS FOR PEOPLE SUFFREING IN INDIA
The Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam (INCHAM) is pleased to inform that with the valuable contributions of our members and friends, we have been able to send some 520 Liquid Medical Oxygen Cylinders (LMO) to support people suffering from Oxygen shortage in India.
To us it was an amazing display of concern & friendship for fellow Indians suffering from COVID. Not only Indians living in HCMC contributed generously for it but also many Vietnamese persons & organizations especially the HCMC Medical Association- AloBacsi who contributed VND 200 Million & Incham in Hanoi made valuable contributions of 120 LMO Cylinders to the pool of funds to secure these supplies for India.
We would also like to mention here the contribution Ms. Kim Anh- Van Tan Phat Company, who not only offered these cylinders on cost to cost basis but also contributed 20 cylinders from her side as her support to INCHAM’s COVID Relief efforts, given the scenario where we find so many other suppliers who have escalated the prices and trying to make huge profit out of the crisis.
The Indian Naval ship Airawat reached the HCMC port on Monday 24th May to receive the relief materials from Vietnam, which included Ventilators, Oxygen Concentrators & Oxygen Cylinders supported by INCHAM, Buddhist Sangha, VIFA & HUFO. The entire fleet of relief material is expected to reach India within 7-10 days and we hope that this would turn out to be timely help for needy people in India.
Thanks once again to our esteemed members and friends in Vietnam who contributed to this great cause.
