INCHAM sends 520 liquid medical oxygen cylinders to India

HCMC – The Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam (INCHAM) has sent some 520 liquid medical oxygen (LMO) cylinders to support people suffering from the oxygen shortage amid the Covid-19 outbreak in India.

According to INCHAM, it was an amazing display of concern and friendship for fellow Indians suffering from Covid-19. Not only Indians living in HCMC have made generous contributions but also many Vietnamese people and organizations. Especially, the HCMC Medical Association-AloBacsi has contributed VND200 million and INCHAM in Hanoi has donated 120 LMO cylinders to the pool of funds to secure these supplies for India.

Further, Kim Anh from Van Tan Phat Company has not only offered these cylinders on cost to cost basis but also contributed 20 cylinders as her support to INCHAM’s Covid-19 relief efforts.

In addition, the Buddhist Sangha in Vietnam not only contributed 108 oxygen concentrators but also some 700 monks conducted an special prayer with 1,000 candles for the blessings of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas for the people and country of India to overcome the great tribulation and the deceased sublimity.

The Indian Naval ship Airawat reached a port in HCMC on May 24 to receive the relief materials from Vietnam, including ventilators, oxygen concentrators and oxygen cylinders. The entire fleet of relief materials is expected to reach India within seven to 10 days and is expected to turn out to be timely help for needy people in India.
